Hm... It's not crucial, I'd say, but it's a manner of self-expression. A shorthand that tells the world about you, to put a bit of a romantic spin on it.
But if you didn't have to deal with people much before, I see why it wouldn't matter so much.
I used to be. I'd like to think I still am, but clothes are just complicated for me nowadays. It's unrelated to be Augmented, though.
Which, I suppose there are two caveats I should give before we might have a little shopping day.
One, part of that pre-Augmented complication is that I can read minds. It's something that just happens and I don't have very much control over it, but I keep everything I overhear to myself. But if that's too much for you, I understand. We can keep things strictly to text chats like this, and I won't mind.
Two, and much more lighthearted, I'm, well. A half robot looking woman pushing seven feet tall at this point. So, we will stick out. For better or for worse.
Not that I've found, unfortunately. I would be employing it more often if there were, trust me.
But at the very least, I think you're fine, dear. I've peered into the minds of eldritch horrors (which I do not recommend, by the way), so at this point, I feel a bit jaded? It's hard to surprise me with what's in peoples' heads, especially here.
